Gracie Turner, DO, MPH
Dr Turner grew up in York, Maine. She completed her undergraduate training at the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology. She then moved to South Florida for medical school at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine where she completed her dual programs for doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) and Masters in Public Health (MPH).
She completed internal medicine residency training at Mt Sinai Medical Center, Miami Beach, FL. She was chief medical resident during her last year of training and earned a medical resident of the year award.
After training she moved to Stuart, FL where she was in an outpatient primary care office for 5 1/2 years. She gained a wealth of experience. After much research about alternative types of medical practices she decided to go into a traditional style private practice in Stuart.
Private practice allows Dr Turner to get back to what she loves about medicine: creating strong patient relationships to promote healthy aging and early disease detection and treatment.
Dr Turner enjoys spending time with her family, yoga, traveling and cooking. She believes healthy aging requires a multifaceted approach through physical activity, whole food based nutritious diet, a calm mind and positive outlook.
